What inspires you to create? If you stop to think about it, there is actually no end to the sources of inspiration we can find. Whether it’s your wedding, your children, your parents, friends, or the family pet, anything can be an inspiration to scrap.
With these thoughts in mind, we would like to share two layouts that have been inspired by family. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do and become inspired to scrap a special someone of your own.
CHARMING. This layout by Annais was inspired by her son’s dressing up for a school play. With Charlie Chaplin and Hollywood in mind, she used paper layering techniques to create this adorable layout.
She used Graphic45 papers and Scrap FX laser-cut chipboard.
This Scrap FX chipboard title was colored with Inka Gold.
BECAUSE MUSIC IS YOUR SOUL. When you have a sibling who is so musically inclined and who is an inspiration herself, how can you not scrap her? Jean went with a musical theme to make a tribute layout for her sister who like classical music, pop rock, and many other musical styles in between.
Jean used Kaisercraft paper, Prima flowers, Perfect Pearls, Dusty Attic chipboard feathers, Tim Holtz tissue tape and Distress Inks, and metal trinkets for her layout below.
Jean absolutely loves the results of using Stampendous Frantage Shabby White Embossing Enamel on these die cut letters.
Clustered Prima flowers and blue velvet ribbon adorn this black Prima Vintage Trinket.
