Many scrappers find the task and creativity of scrapbooking to be therapeutic. Whether at home or in places like our shop, ladies get to spend some precious time away from work, the hubby, the kids, and other pressures of day-to-day life.

Minus Tracy and Jolene, the Tuesday Therapy group forged on with Marie, her daughter Robyn, and Di in attendance. Marie was happy to be here for a few hours to shop and scrap in the middle of her visit to Dubai.

Robyn, Di, and Marie make the best of their morning to crop. They each made wonderful pages that we share here with you all.

Without her mentor Jolene to watch out for her we strongly persuaded (bullied :P) Di to try something that was out of her comfort zone. The result was this charmingly pretty layout of her and her daughter. You can show this one off to Jo, Di! It looks good even without the title (which she should have added at home by now.)

Di started the layout by using a Prima mask and Glimmer Mist to create the background.

One of the best ways to remember our dearest of friends is to make them a tribute on a scrapbook page, adorned with a few words of blessing. For her best friend, Robyn created this beautiful and touching page.

Marie made good use of patterned paper with this layout. She painstakingly cut out the flowers from an identical sheet and layered them on to the flowers of the base paper for a simple yet effective 3D look. Quite a bit of cutting and patience was required here, but it was well worth it!

In our last post we had Nicky and her scrappy friends from Abu Dhabi for cropping. Nicky did four pages of her scrapbook that day and here is a two page spread from that. She made the cut-out waves stand out more by coloring the edges with white to simulate the foam on the water.

A stellar job, ladies! Thanks for inspiring us to more creativity!

Happy scrapping, scrappers!
