It seems very clear that many of our scrappers have caught the Mixed Media Madness bug. There is very little doubt that this technique creates attractive and unique layouts that are sure to get a “Wow!” out of anybody.

Lately we have had quite a few of these classes with some ladies who go away very happy with their finished layouts. They also find out exactly why we call it “Madness.” 😉 Here are the ladies we have had and the amazing layouts they have come up with.

Gaewyn brought her friend Robyn to the shop as part of her visit from Australia. They spent the morning getting their hands busy and happily messy with their Mixed Media Madness workshop.

Robyn and Gaewyn each created a layout that is definitely one to keep forever. Both worked with the theme of “sisters” to finish these very feminine projects.

Looking to find new techniques she can use in her crafting, Rekha got all that she was searching for in the workshop. Though she was no stranger to some of our materials, she was delighted to discover how to use mediums that were new to her or had always wanted to try.

Rekha’s finished page turned out very dainty and girly, just as she wanted for her daughter. Pinks and purples make a combination that is so pleasant to the eye.

Eman has been actively scrapbooking for a while and decided to fast-track her creative skills with this workshop. She used an old black and white picture of herself and a background paper that reminded her of the school uniform she wore as a little girl.

Who knew that a plaid background would result in a very personal and distinct layout? Eman created something that reflects the color and playfulness of childhood “Innocence.”

Here are some close-up details of Eman’s work. Note the metal fairytale accents and the word “faith” which is what Eman’s name means.

We are definitely not lacking in artistic inspiration thanks to ladies like these! Splendid work!
