Our After School Creative-ities have been extremely regular with lots of creativity going on in the afternoons. With these kids, we are taking paper and pencil and scissors and glue to levels that are exciting and new for them. Here are some of the things that they have been doing in our Scrap Attack and Manga Drawing with Copics classes.

Miryam and Sarah are the daughters of one of our regular crafters who are apparently just as crafty as their mother. Here they are with their Scrap Attack pages that are just as cute as they are and full of their own unique personalities.

Here’s Miryam rocking her black and pink layout. Stamping and border punches make the page extra cool.

Sarah’s layout is oh so girly as she went to town with Stickles and Distress Inks.

Hadleigh is one of our most recent scrappers and has taken quite a liking to scrapbooking among other Create-ivities that we have. Here’s her with her Best Friends page. Great work on this one!

Our Manga Drawing with Copics class has become more popular as more kids are discovering the secrets to creating their own characters. They also have lots of fun learning how to bring them to life with the bright colors of Copic Markers.

Here are our manga kids, some new, some who been with us for a while.

Wondering how what more you can do with manga? Well, mixed media is one thing. Here’s one of our girls who is working on the Manga on Canvas workshop.

Renee has been working real hard on this and we think it will turn out splendid. Look forward to her finished piece!

It’s awesome to see such young people get into creative pursuits at their age. Who knows that one among them is going to be a great artist or comic book author one day. 😉
