For many people who come to our decoupage sessions, it all starts with a little glue, tissue, and a box. After that, their own imagination and creativity can help them create amazing pieces. The decoupiers we have come to know have gone beyond boxes, but it is still great to see the enthusiasm beginners have as they work on their own projects.
Poornima carefully applies glue to her box to keep her tissues in place.
Golden cages and colorful birds make Poornima’s tissue box stunning.
Gelareh is an Iranian lady with a creative streak. Since she usually works with fabrics as she makes clothes, working with papers and tissue to create a decoupage project was something new for her.
Gelareh’s finished box looks so elegant with the peacocks and script.
Mitra is another Iranian lady who fell in love with a tissue box made by one of our other regular decoupiers. Here she finally gets to rty making one of her own.
Mitra had so much fun using her signature motif, the rose, on her box. This box is a perfect match for the rest of her house.
Muna is a local lady who came for a session to learn how to decoupage. She used on of our 5×7-photo boxes.
Muna’s box is refreshingly cheerful with its yellow and white crackle and assorted flowers.
