MOM & DAUGHTER DAY-OUT

Crafty moms often have a crafty kid or two and it’s more often the girls who inherit the crafty gene. So, it’s not uncommon for us to have Moms and their young ladies over for creative sessions. Let’s visit with a few of these mother-daughter teams and see the great work they’ve done.

DECOUPAGE

Hind and mother Muna came by late one afternoon to sit and create beautiful decoupage projects. While Muna worked on her serving set, Hind made her own colorful keepsake box.

????????????????????????

Here’s Muna’s finished tea and coffee set. The pure white of the items makes the colors of the flowers show through vibrantly.
Decoupage box

Hind used a combination of paper and tissue to decoupage this stunning box.

Jeanine and her daughters Shelby and Tyra booked a Mixed Media Madness session with us. Each talented lady chose a different picture to make into their owen mixed media masterpiece. This family is no stranger to us as Tyra was with us for most of August 2012 as one of our summer campers.

Here’s Tyra’s Mad Masterpiece. For such a young crafter, she picked up the techniques we taught her like a sponge! This is so great, Tyra. Excellent job!

Here’s big sister Shelby’s Mixed Media layout. She’s not being left behind by either sister and mother. It is just fabulous! Shelby made this layout to take with her to university in the UK. That is so sweet!
