It has been over year since Gaewyn first came to our shop, all the way from Australia, with her good friend Robyn to do some in-shop projects with us. Since then, Gaewyn has become a regular crafter, coming to the shop to crop whenever she’s in Dubai with her husband. We enjoy her cheerful company as we give a bit of assistance to her amazing projects.

Gaewyn is a seasoned scrapbooker and crafter and her experience shows in her work. Here are a few pages she has done in the shop with us.
Scrapbook layout

Gaewyn made this layout (above) for her niece’s little daughter. The paper and embellishments were a great match for the pictures and the playful girly look that Gaewyn loves.

Mini book

Gaewyn wanted to create something special for her grandson to look back in time with. She made this binder album with Heidi Swapp’s chipboard folders, assorted surf themed papers, chipboard words, and chipboard embellishments to match. She applied some techniques that she learned from Heidi Swapp herself at a scrapper’s retreat in New Zealand that she attended last May and the result is just gorgeous!

Spooky halloween

Gaewyn picked out a few of our Halloween kits to use with pictures of the children in her family. Above is a really cute “Spooky” layout that is so appropriate for the super adorable photo.

Bewitching halloween

The “Bewitching” Halloween kit is the perfect backdrop for Gaewyn’s bewitching picture of her grand-niece.

The orange “BOO” Halloween kit is just right for the little orange-horned skeleton in his stroller.

Creepy hallow

The photo’s Spiderman theme and the little boy’s expression make this “Creepy” layout twice as fun.

Who doesn’t like being a pirate? Gaewyn’s grandson certainly looks like he’s enjoying himself. Arrrr!

We do hope Gaewyn’s work has started a creative spark in you and gets you started on your next scrapbook layout. If you haven’t yet tried scrapbooking, you might want to start off with our very helpful Start Scrapbooking  workshop.

Keep on creating, everyone!
