Chalkboard frame

Our Milk Painting 101  will get you familiar with how to use the paints and create beautiful distressed effects to give your furniture that cozy  cottage look.

The unique qualities of milk  paint give it a texture quite unlike any other paint on the market. It is simple to use and it is possible to create different distressed and vintage effects using the paints in combination with other materials.

One of the best things about it is that no sanding is required to prepare any pre-painted furniture!

The different skills you will learn in this workshop include:

Proper mixing

Use of the Bonding Agent

Resist techniques

Top coats: Hemp Oil, Wax, and Tough Coat

Making a chalkboard surface

*Choose your colors from the full range of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paints.

At the end of the workshop, you will go home with sample boards with the different finishing techniques and a Chalkboard Frame (pictured at the top) that you have made yourself. Place the chalkboard in your kitchen or home office to keep track of things, big and small, that you need to remember.
