The Tea Box

The Tea Box is a versatile piece that can be used as an organizer for jewelry or crafty bits and bobs. Learn how to use patterned paper to customize this box.

FiVINTAGE TREASURE BOX

Use Milk Paint and tissue to create vintage look on this 8×12 inch chest. The tissue collage technique allows you to create something new out of different serviettes. The solid wood of the chest easily absorbs Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint. This helps create an extremely smooth sanded finish while still preserving the look of the wood grain.

STENCILED DECOUPAGE TRAY

This project steps the techniques up a bit. It makes use of two-tone distressing with Milk Paint, fussy cutting, and stenciling. That’s quite a few techniques to learn on one solid wooden tray. Make one for your next tea-time get-together at home.
